Lost in Space
WELL, we all knew it would be hard to get past the Moon. We managed to deal with the Apollo architecture, living like ten days or so apart from our beloved ones. Now, it's time to try something harder: a stint on board the International Space Station --a few months under considerable stress, missing the way things are on good old Earth. And, then, if we manage to survive this harsh training period, then, maybe, we should consider taking our chances on a one-way trip to Mars --an eight-month challenge. If we survive this as well, I think we could deal with whatever comes our way. But so far, all that we actually accomplished was a short trip to the Moon. Some footprints, flags, a lot of pride, and that's pretty much it. We'll see what the future has in store for us. We choose to go to the Moon, and we choose to do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard. Here comes Billy Shears What would I do when my love is away? Does it worry you to be alone? How do I feel by the end of the day? Are you sad because you're on your own? No, I get by with a little help from my friends, I get high with a little help from my friends, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends. |
